What are garden cats?

I see this displayed on some animal rescue centres' websites, when they're showing cats up for adoption.

What are garden cats?
I've never heard of that term but I think you are referring to Feral cats. Feral cats are cats that have grown up in a wild environment with little contact (if any) with people. T-N-R (Trap, Neuter %26amp; Return) is a *very* popular practice with feral cat colonies in that it allows the established population to be trapped humanely, spayed or neutered and returned to their colony. This is the most humane way to eliminate feral cat colonies - killing them off is not effective because after a period of time, new cats will move and take over the area. You can find more feral cat information on my website at http://maketheconnection.co.nr
