T9his secondary school mathematics 3, for year 10, i need help in distribution law - applied problems, activity! paving stones





Intro: A garden centre sells 1 meter by 1 meter slabs used as pathways and as surrounds for swimming pools and fish ponds.





Focus question: what is the rule for the number of slabs that surround an irregular shapes.





In terms of p and q, find the rule for the number of slabs to form a pathway p meters long and q meters wide
