Water Snail Type?

Ok I asked my mum to look at some water snails at the garden centre when they went on Sunday (I was working), as I needed an algae eater. Being as kind as my mum is my sister handed me two water snails in a bag when I got in the car after work which they had bought me on the advise of the person working in the fish store at the garden centre. My mum says the guy called it something like a snow snail but I cannot find a reference to a snow snai on the web. I wandered if anyone can help. Here is a couple of links to images:

Water Snail Type?
congratulations, you are the proud owner of two apple snails (Pomacea bridgesii).
Reply:taht is almost positivly a golden mystery snail. when i went to the pet store looking for an interesting edition to my tank i saw that same exact kind of snail and it is a golden mystery snail. yep. you can look up 'golden mystery snail' and itll give you a bunch of info about them and pics.
Reply:Try Golden Mystery Snail or Briggs. That is what this one appears to be. I have raised them. They will get to about a golf ball size and they don't eat plants and they lay eggs above water line and it take a male and female to reproduce. Email me with any questions. Hope this helps.
Reply:Golden Apple Snail I have 2 one has just had 2 little ones which at the moment are brown.
Reply:It looks like you have a golden mystery snail.
