Call the Budgie Police quick. Or dial 1-900-go A-team we'll take care of that pesky budgie problem you have there in the UK.

You tell that budgie to quit cummin in your garden everyday
Reply:Borrow a budgie cage from someone and put some fresh lettuce and some birdseed in there --he'll probably want to "come home" and soon you'll be able to capture him.

Call the SPCA when you do, if you're not able to keep him.
Reply:yep he's probably a survivor. I'd put some feed out in a cage since he's use to seeing a cage as his home. He's captive bred so will likely come into the cage for food and water if you put it there.

He is not built to survive cold winters so do try to catch him if you want to take care of him or give him to someone who will.

I have had budgies all my life. I use to let them out each day. They'd fly around the house landing on the shoulder of anyone handy, while I cleaned the cage and refreshed the water and food and treats. They are darling little pets. He'll see that cage as refuge from a big confusing world of he's captive bred.
